-October 30, 2010
9:30 A.M.-12:00 P.M.
Human trafficking continues to be one of the worst evils of our time.  This day will offer you the opportunity to learn about the devastating impact of human trafficking on those victimized by this destructive practice of forcing a person into unpaid labor and/or other forms of involuntary servitude.  Attending this workshop will help you to discover how to recognize persons who may be trafficked since these victims are often hidden in local neighborhoods and businesses.  You will also become acquainted with the ways you might become involved in helping such victims, many of whom are women and children, and about the community resources available to support those who are trafficked.
