Deepening our Consent to Transformation: A Centering Prayer Retreat

Centering Prayer is a prayer which opens us to God’s presence and action.  Centering Prayer is also about a process of interior transformation initiated by God and leading, if we consent, to divine union.  Awareness of the invitation to transformation through a deepening relationship with God facilitates our opening to God’s presence and action.

This retreat includes multiple periods of Centering Prayer and conferences on the conceptual background of Centering Prayer with an emphasis on the Seven Stages of Centering Prayer, a hierarchy created by Fr. Thomas Keating OCSO.  The extended periods of silence in this retreat support the process of transformation in God.
