“If the only prayer you said in your whole life was thank you, that would suffice” (Meister Eckhart). If this is true, and I believe it is, we will spend the next four weeks learning how to pray. As you begin this New Year, join us for a four week online course focused on developing an attitude of gratitude. We will look at some contemplative ideas shared by Brother David Steidnl-Rast that enhance gratitude, some models of gratitude and we will investigate how gratitude relates to the Law of Attraction. We will explore concrete steps on how to develop a grateful heart (journaling, gratitude rocks, etc.) and some research on gratitude which provides substantial evidence that gratitude changes us, that it heals us, and that it helps us grow in compassion. Join us and nourish your heart in a way that affirms and nourishes the life of others – let gratitude transform you. Register before February 1, 2017 to begin this four week online course. If you are registered you will receive the first lesson by email and a link to the blog page for interaction around the course. On the blog page you will be able to share your comments, suggestions, etc. May you have a grateful heart and nourish it daily by learning strategies that help you practice “gratitude”.
Date, Time, and Cost:
The course begins on February 1 and ends on February 28, 2017. The time is at your convenience. Material will be emailed to you and you can interact with others in the course on a link you will be given for the gratitude blog page. There is no cost for the cost since it is a pilot.
