This is just a reminder that this Sunday, April 7, 2019 is our Annual Charism Day.  Tom Kendzia, a renowned musical artist will be joining us for a day entitled “Lead Us to the Water:  Lent and the Call to Discipleship”.  The program begins at  1:00 p.m. and ends around 4:00 p.m.  It costs $30.

Tom Kendzia is well known as a composer, arranger, producer, teacher, clinician, author and performer.  You may know him best from his songs:  Endless is Our Love, Loving and Forgiving, Come to the Water, Create in Me, and many more.  He has been a professional liturgical musician for more than 30 years.  Since 1980, Tom has appeared throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe at national and diocesan gatherings.

He has been the music and worship director of the East Coast Conference for Religious Education since 2002. Tom has 15 collections of liturgical and instrumental music published by OCP.  Currently he is a music and liturgy consultant for RCL Benzinger and music director at Christ the king Catholic Church in Kingston, Rhode Island, where he lives with his wife, Mary Carol and two children.

The joyful season of Lent offers us a time of renewal of baptismal promises that call us to a life of discipleship.  Through liturgy, music, reflection, and especially action, we answer the call of God, to break through the darkness of our lives and this world, to live as Christ to the world.

Join us for an afternoon in God’s presence with Tom’s beautiful, prayerful music and inspiring thoughts that will touch your heart and soul.
