A Morning Series: Dining in the Kingdom of God

$120.00

One of the experiences many of us suffered during the pandemic was the inability to come to church to celebrate the Eucharistic liturgy.  Although we may have been able to participate vicariously through various forms of social media, nothing compares to gathering as a faith community to listen to the Word of God and to share in the Breaking of the Bread. Indeed, “absence can make the heart grow fonder” so, in several ways, the pandemic has fostered within us a deeper and more abiding appreciation for the nourishment that Eucharist provides to each of us who are committed to the Gospel.  You will be invited during this series to reflect on the story of the Eucharist as it develops in the meals experienced by Jesus and narrated in the Gospel of Luke. We will sit at table with Jesus the Prophet, Jesus the Christ, and Jesus the Lord, as we explore both the comfort and the challenge that these Gospel accounts offer us.

Dates: Morning Series:  from 10 to 12:00 on October 12, November 9, December 7, 2022, January 11, February 8, March 8, April 12, May 10, 2023
Cost:  $120 for the series (There is no option to pay monthly but, if this pesents a problem for you, please call Sr. Julia at 610-558-6449.)
