“In this new retreat (not a ‘sequel’ to previous retreats; thus, all are welcome), we shall explore (through presentations, film screenings, prayer suggestions, extended personal time) various ‘Faces of God’ as paradigms of Love. Might we expand and deepen our understanding of prayer as ‘sitting face to face with Love—and letting Love love us”? And to pray with the following themes:1) deepening of trust in God’s Presence/Reality, 2) the ongoing immersion in god’s heart-Love. 3) faces of Jesus as the enfleshments of Love’s Self, 4) the wounding (crucifixion) of Love—in need of healing, 5) liberation/hope/joy in the face of injustices done to Love
Date & Times: Retreat begins at 10 AM on Sunday, August 22, 2021 and ends on Friday August 27th at 11:30 AM. Each day’s presentations will be from 10 to 11:30 AM (90 minutes).
The Logistics: This retreat can be viewed via ZOOM. There will be six 9oMinute retreat sessions. Each session will occur between 10 AM and 11:30 AM each day. There will be one ZOOM Link for the week. The Zoom Link will be emailed to you the day before each presentation along with any handouts. One important note is that Brother Michael will be connecting via a PHONE so you will NOT SEE him during any of the presentations but you will hear him and you will see his notes via powerpoint slides and any video he wishes to show.
