Among the 150 Psalms included in the Hebrew Scriptures, “The Good Shepherd Psalm” (23) is perhaps one of the most popular and belooved of all of these ancient songs. For those of us who are trying to continue to sing God’s praises as we journey through our “senior” years, this psalm’s sweet music and comforting images can serve as a harmonious counterpoint to the “flats” and “sharps” that inevitably accompany the aging process. Join us for these days of prayer and reflection as we follow our Shepherd to the greener pastures of promised hope. (October 29-31, 2019)
