With Sr. Joan Brown, OSF
May 28, 2026
Webinar #1: The Long Story of Creation and the Work of Ecological Healing
In celebration of the Jubilee Year of St. Francis, the Franciscan Federation’s Intergenerational Eco-Justice and Spirituality Network, in partnership with Catholic Climate Covenant, Franciscan Action Network, and the Interfaith Public Health Network is hosting a four part webinar series that explores how Franciscan eco-spirituality can meet this moment with clarity, courage, and hope.
(The webinar will be recorded and a link to the recording will be shared with everyone who registers)
In this opening webinar, Sr. Joan Brown, OSF, will explore extractivism, integral ecology, and the spiritual worldview needed for this moment. Drawing from her work in the Permian Basin, insights from the recent Santa Marta gathering, and her upcoming journey to the Arctic, she will weave these stories into the 800th anniversary of St. Francis and the call to care for our common home.
