‘The Life of the Beloved’ is a series of three sermons given in 20111 by the Dutch Catholic priest Henri Nouwen. The sermons are entitled: 1. Being the Beloved; 2. Becoming the Beloved; 3. The Disciplines of the Beloved.  The first 3 minutes given a summary of his life are in Dutch but his presentation is in English so you might want to fast forward for the first 3 and 1/2 minutes.  This video was published on You Tube in April 2012.

This is a You Tube video presented by Fr. Greg Boyle who wrote the book:  Tattoos On The Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion.  It was presented at the 2012 LA Religious Education Conference.  It is a very inspiriting presentation that lasts about an hour and 30 minutes but filled with content about his experience with street gangs.  If you have the time it will be a retreat experience in and of itself.

CREIGHTON UNIVERSITY ONLINE RETREAT

Often people have a desire to make a retreat but don’t quite know what it entails or can’t take time away from school or work.  You might want to explore one or two.  Creighton University has an online retreat  that is very solid and very practical.  You might want to consider looking at it and see how it might fit into your life.

SISTERS OF ST. JOSEPH OF CARONDOLET ONLINE RETREAT
