The Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia invite you to extend the spirit of the Season of Creation by joining us for a Cry of the Earth, Cry of the Poor Synodal Conversation.
Come together in a spirit of prayer and openness as we listen to one another and to the voice of the Spirit—hearing and responding to the cries of Sister Mother Earth and of our sisters and brothers most vulnerable to the impacts of the ecological crisis.
The fruits of these conversations will be shared with the national and global synodal process through the Catholic Climate Covenant, helping to build a Catholic community of prayer and action in response to the environmental crisis.
In this Franciscan Jubilee Year, as we celebrate the witness of St. Francis of Assisi 800 years after his death: “May the Lord show us what is ours to do!”
