Meyers Group Comes to Franciscan Spiritual Center
Last week, on a very hot day, the Meyer Group gave back by volunteering time beautifying the grounds at Clare House where retreatants can stay and reflect close to nature in a quiet and serene atmosphere. Clare House and our Hermitages are located within natural woods surrounding them. Our hermitages were constructed in a way that treads lightly on the earth. Clare House was in need of clearing the trails and planting flowers – making the grounds more appealing for those who visit. The group also got to tour the energy-efficient Hermitages that are on site and learn about the unique architectural details of the 17X17 single-room dwelling.
