Sr. Regina Ryan, IHM, Ed.D.

Sister Regina is a member of the religious congregation, Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Academically, she earned an undergraduate degree in French, and theology a Master of Theology, and a doctorate in Educational Administration and Supervision.   Her professional experiences include teaching eighth grade in various elementary schools, secondary school theology and French, high school administration, and serving as a fulltime faculty member in the Education Department of Immaculata University.  Most recently Sister completed a thirteen-year term as head of Villa Maria Academy High School, PA.  Currently she serves as an adjunct professor in the Education Department of Villanova University, PA and offers informative sessions on current religious/scripture topics of interest among the retired community in the local area.

Sister Regina is a life-long learner and a strong advocate for global awareness and cultural education. Her passion was stretched by study in Paris, France, and Salamanca, Spain. She shared it with others by leading multiple student educational trips throughout Europe and presenting workshops to numerous school faculties both in the United States, Perú and China.
