“A Little Child Will Lead Them”—The Messianic Images in First Isaiah

$40.00

Stumps and stars, lions and lambs, angels and adders, cattle and children—all live together peacefully on the holy mountain in the glorious kingdom that is the reign of God inaugurated with the coming of Christ.  The early chapters of the Book of the Prophet Isaiah offer us these familiar and dearly loved Advent visions which picture a world already redeemed, restored and reconciled because our all-good God has given us Jesus.  You are invited to come to the quiet of this retreat day to reflect on and pray with these beautiful images of the Incarnation.
