Our website was upgraded in April 2018. Passwords used with the old website will be invalid. You will be creating a new account at the time of purchase (registration for a program). During checkout, there is an option at the top of the page to create the account and save your information for future purchases. You will also create your new password at this time. The next time you come back to the shopping cart, there will be an option — at the top of the Checkout page again – to log in and use your previously saved account information. (
Like other websites you can put programs in the shopping cart and come back to sign out at another time. Each event will have a “Book Ticket” button. If you are registering for two people you can change the number to two or whatever number you want and it will calculate the amount for that event. If there are options for an event, e.g. if you have to choose between options (resident or commuter), you must choose one of the options before you will be able to book the ticket. I think you’ll find the process intuitive as you go through the registration process.
We have added an alternate on-line payment processor called Stripe. Now you can choose between PayPal or Stripe. When you check out you will initially see Proceed to check out (STRIPE) OR Check out with PayPal.
If you choose PayPal everything will be as before. You will be taken to the PayPal website. Your previous PayPal account password will still work. If new to PayPal you will have to set up a PayPal account.
If you choose proceed to Check out you will then be given two options: PAY by Check or STRIPE.
If you choose Pay by Check you will be reminded that you are not REGISTERED until at least your deposit arrives at the FSC office. You can, of course, mail the whole amount right away but to be registered we must at least receive the deposit and then you can bring the remaining amount when you arrive for the event.
If you choose Stripe you will be shown a vey short form asking for your email address, credit card number, expiration date and CVC. You will also be given the option to” remember me”. If you opt for this you will be asked for your cell phone number.
Since it is a new website, when you go to register for a program the first time, you will need to introduce yourself to the website and get a new password. You will get a password in your email; be sure to change your password to something you will recognize. You can change your password at any timing by going to “My Account” which appears at the very bottom of the first page.
What is Coupon Code or Apply Coupon? We are providing the option to purchase a Gift Card for someone to come to the Franciscan Spiritual Center. If you don’t have a coupon code you can ignore that section. Currently we have only made a night in the hermitage as an option but eventually there will be ones for a weekend program, a day program, and a full retreat. When you purchase a gift card you are given a Coupon Code. You give this to the person receiving the gift card and then they can come to the website and use that coupon code (Gift Card) for checkout for a program. If you don’t have a coupon (99% of the time) then you just ignore that line.
