“Rejoice and Be Glad”: The Blessedness of Gospel Living

$250.00

According to the late Michael Crosby, OFM,Cap., in the Beatitudes that begin his famous and well-loved “Sermon on the Mount,” the Jesus of Matthew’s Gospel addresses, not only the “crowds” and “disciples” who gathered that day, but also “speaks to us as First World Christians.”  From the mountain, Jesus offers us a new perspective—the opportunity to discover and experience being “blessed” in the same way he was, since the “Beatitudes were first fulfilled in the life of Jesus.” During this guided retreat, we will reflect on each of the eight Beatitudes: how they were enfleshed in the life of Jesus and how they invite us to transform the way in which we see ourselves and others and our world.

June16-22, 2025 In person or on ZOOM seven Day retreat with sessions 10:00 to 11:30 each day beginning Monday and concluding on Sunday.  There are Reflection Guides to use each Day.
There are no overnight accommodations.
Cost:  $250 ($25 Deposit)
